Great view, very quiet location, very pleasant staff.
We chose this hotel because it looked nice and was in a quiet location. We took a taxi into Chamonix in the evening and it cost 20€ each way which we thought was extortionate. This is not a complaint about the hotel just something that people should consider when booking it..
Pleasant wooden interior, very bright and very cozy, spacious paking lot, hospitable staff.
Was a bit chilly in the room, the room door was heavy, the toilet was separated from the bathroom.
Excellent views and resturante
Bedroom was ok for the price but a little odd in layout
Very friendly helpful staff, great spa, amazing views! Loved it.
The hotel staff were great and nothing was too much trouble. In a really cute location but very quiet with no shops or restaurants in teh direct area. The only down side of the hotel is that without a car, getting around can be difficult as you have to rely on the train and bus services which run every 30 mins (bus) and every hour (train). The night bus runs until 11.30pm
The only thing that would have been an improvement would have been to have tea / coffee making facilities in the room.
Amazingly warm people running this family hotel!
Need to have a proper internet access in the rooms...
I loved the friendly ,informal relaxed atmosphere without losing standards. The staff were excellent and the food was french. Comfortable
The location was isolated with very little around at night
Excellent position Excellent restaurant Easy to find Excellent staff
For me wifi was mandatory but I have had no possibility to connect due to some technical problems
What a terrific hotel. The scenery is superb and the hotel is away from the busy center of Chamonix yet only 3 km away. Restaurant was excellent and the general ambience is great. Highly recommended ...
Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed, good price.
Sauna area could have been better.
Very helpful and friendly family run hotel, looking forward to returning in the furure
Aiguille du Midi was a real gem of a hotel, with the most helpful and friendly staff I have seen at a ski village. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and breakfast (although not included) was delicious. Strong WiFi signal and free bus pass for the duration of the stay was an added bonus.
Depending on your agenda this hotel is a ways away from the nightlife in Chamonix. With the last bus at 11:30 PM and very expensive/scarce taxis we ended up walking home every night (~40 min walk). But if your not staying out that late then there shouldn't be a problem.
The reception lady was very friendly. The location was good if u have a car since its 3 km from the city center. The room is very cosy, clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful relaxing w.e
Its a bit far from the city center, so you have to take the car to go there.
